What is Russian visa registration?

Russian visa registration is a blank with your trip and personal data on it. It consists of two parts — the biggest one goes to the Migration Service and another must be kept by a tourist in his passport.

Make sure there is a stamp of your inviting company and migration service (or post office) on the blank.

Inviting company or other travel agency can give you a copy of your registration with original stamp on it, so you will not have to return it before the day you leave Russia. The company should take care of this process.

Be aware that no one could take your original passport or migration card for registration. Copies of the documents will be enough.
